HOW TO RETURN

Heat Experience does not cover the cost of returning / changing sizes.

  1. Fill out the return form that came with your order confirmation. You can also download the form HERE. Enter the reason for return and which items you return.
  2. Put the items you are returning and the return form in original packaging with all labels hanging attached. Do not tape or write directly on the product packaging.
  3. Send package to:

Right of withdrawal

When purchasing goods from Heatexp AS, you can always send them back within 14 days of receiving the goods, cf. Law on the right of withdrawal. The right of withdrawal gives you the right to get your money back, but you must cover the shipping costs for returning your goods. The item must be in the original packaging, with labels attached and the items must be unused. Underwear and body-hugging garments are not exchanged if the original packaging is broken.

 

Uncollected and unpaid packages will be charged a fee of 20 EUR + return shipping of the current order, to cover our expenses. If there is something wrong with the item, we cover the cost of the return. Contact us and we will send you a return slip. If there are errors or defects in the item, you have the right to complain for up to 2 years.

  2. Place the items you are returning and the form in original packaging with all labels hanging on it. Do not tape or write directly on the product packaging. NB: Feel free to send a package with tracking. Then we have a better overview in case there should be problems with the return.

open purchase

In addition to the right of withdrawal, Heat Experience offers you as a customer 14 days open purchase! This is so that you can feel 100% sure of your purchase and is very nice when you are unsure of size. Open purchase is valid for 14 days from the time you received the item, provided that the item can be sold as new. This means that the item must be free of visible damage to use (feel free to try on the vest or gloves indoors, for example) or other wear. All original labels must be intact and hung on the product, and the original packaging must be included. Please do not put tape, stamps, labels or the like directly on the original packaging – it will be damaged and lose value. Remember to pack your return so that it is not damaged during transport!

Delivery/Shipping

We ship to all EU countries from our warehouse in Germany. As a customer of Heat Experience, you pay a flat rate of 7.99EUR for shipping on all purchases. We ship Monday-Friday, from 9am to 4pm. If you place an order before 12.00, the goods will normally be sent from our warehouse the same day. Normal delivery time is 2-10 business days, depending on where you live. As soon as the package has been made ready for shipment, you will receive an email with tracking information. Note that it may take a few hours for tracking to become active.

Charger

Use:
If the charger works normally:

The light on the charger should glow green when you plug it into the socket without batteries connected.

When charging:
The light should change to red when you connect a battery that is charging.

When the battery is fully charged, the light turns green.

Troubleshooting:
If you suspect that something is wrong with your charger, you can test with another battery if you have this. A defective battery can cause “symptoms” of a defective charger.

Safety information:
Read the operating instructions before use.
Never charge batteries without being present.
Our chargers are not approved for outdoor use.

Battery

Maintenance charge:
Batteries that are to be stored for a longer period of time (~ 2 months) should be stored at about 60% charge. You can achieve this by charging an empty battery approx. ½ – 1/3 of normal charging time. (1h at 2200mAh, 2h at 6000mAh battery)

Safety:
Damaged batteries can potentially pose a risk of fire and personal injury.
If you discover physical damage to your battery, the battery must be taken out of service immediately.
If you have questions regarding the condition and safety of the batteries, contact us at customer service.

Store the damaged batteries in a fireproof place and deliver them as soon as possible to an approved recycling station.

If you experience that the cells on the battery are “inflated,” the use of the batteries must cease immediately. Store the batteries in a place where there is no danger of fire. Deliver damaged batteries to an approved recycling station. Contact us at customer service for further guidance.

We use Li-Ion polymer batteries in our products.
All our batteries have a built-in protection circuit to protect the battery from over-charging and deep discharge.

Like other Li-Ion Polymer batteries, our batteries have a cartilage life of 400-600 charge cycles during everyday use and maintenance charging.

The product will not turn on, what do I do?

How do I clean the product?

Use a cloth with lukewarm water. Wipe the product. The product should not be inverted. Hang the product to dry at room temperature.

How long do the batteries last?

A fully charged battery lasts for 2 – 5 hours, depending on the heat level used.

Do the gloves have a battery indicator?

No, unfortunately, we do not have a battery indicator on the gloves.

Is there a heating element in the fingers of the glove?

Yes, the heating elements extend to the fingertips.

Are the batteries affected by cold?

Yes, Lithium-ion batteries are affected by the cold. If the batteries are exposed to cold climates, for example, if you have them in your backpack on a trip, it can affect the battery life.

Where are the gloves produced?

The gloves are made in Shenzhen, China, by a factory specializing in gloves.

Can the heating wires break?

The heating wires (carbon wires) in our hashes have undergone complex tests. The chance of these breaking during everyday use is minimal.

Is there a guarantee on gloves and batteries?

Yes, we at Heat Experience have a two-year warranty on all our products. If something should happen to your product, you will get a new product or your money back if we do not have a new product available.

Are the gloves waterproof?

The outer materials of the gloves have a water-repellent and breathable membrane. They are not waterproof. They are not waterproof because it affects breathability, which is very important when heat is added inside the gloves and avoid clamminess.

What happens if something is wrong with the product?
With us, you have a two-year guarantee on all products. Should something happen, we repair or replace the product. We also sell separate batteries for the warm vests, so if the battery is widely used and ripe for replacement, you can buy a new battery for your vest.

Can the warm vest withstand getting wet?
Yes, there is no danger if the vest gets wet. We do not recommend wearing the vest if the battery is exposed to water. In bad weather, we still recommend wearing the vest under a waterproof jacket.

Can the product be washed in a washing machine?
Yes, the product can be washed in a washing machine. Remember to remove the battery and close all zippers. We recommend a 30 ° fine wash. Follow the washing instructions in the garment. Make sure the plug in the product is dry before connecting the battery.

How long does it take to charge the batteries?
If you use the included wall charger, the battery in the vest and soles is charged from empty to full in approx. 4 hours.

What happens to the battery if it is exposed to the cold?
Li-ion batteries drain faster if stored in a cold environment. We have placed the battery inside the vest and close to the body so that it is not exposed to severe cold during use. In this way, the battery life lasts as normal, even when it is freezing outside.

How are the sizes of the vests experienced?
We have used a European size guide which means that sizes are perceived as normal. If you use size medium from other Norwegian suppliers of outdoor clothing, we recommend size M / L. If the vest does not fit, it can be exchanged for another size, but you must cover shipping costs yourself.

How long does the heat last?
Heat Experience heating vest has 3 different heat levels. The lowest level is most used and keeps the heat for 10 hours with a fully charged battery. We recommend using the highest level only for short periods to dry the innermost layer or raise the body temperature; this level warms for 5 hours. Perceived usage time is often longer than 10 hours as you generally do not use the heat when you are active.
